In boxing, heavyweights always have reigned supreme. But who reigns supreme amongst them? Anthony Joshua, once a king, now a predator climbing back up. He’s just KO’d a giant, shaking up the entire heavyweight hierarchy. Surprised? So is the boxing community.

Behind him, Joseph Parker lurks after his win against Deontay Wilder, steady yet overshadowed. Their world is a chessboard, each move reshaping the landscape. Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Joe Joyce are also in the rankings. But who is the king of this division?

At the pinnacle stands Oleksandr Usyk, unwavering in his reign, the undisputed maestro of the heavyweight symphony. Following closely is Tyson Fury, the British titan, whose spot at number one remains intact, even after a disappointing performance against Francis Ngannou. He is set to face Usyk on 18th May to decide who the ultimate king is.

The spotlight, however, shines brightly on Anthony Joshua, who maintained his second spot. His recent triumph over Francis Ngannou by knockout has not just revitalized his career but has also reshaped the boxing hierarchy.

Transitioning smoothly down the list, Joseph Parker climbs up to number three, his steadiness in the rankings reflecting his solid performances in the ring, especially the one against Wilder. Right on his heels is Zhilei Zhang, the Chinese powerhouse, who used to be above him. Filip Hrgovic, the Croatian sensation, stays put at number five, and is still unbeaten, with his record standing at 17-0.

The list continues with Jared Anderson, the American prodigy, who remains at seventh, with a record of 16-0, 15 of those 16 wins came from KOs. Following him is Joe Joyce from Great Britain, positioned at eighth, who has lost 2 consecutive matches to Zhang.
