Simultaneously, Rolando Romero will defend his WBA Super-Lightweight title against Isaac Cruz on the same card. However, it was the promotional video for the event that caught the attention of fans.

Thurman and Romero collaborated on a promotional video, encouraging fans to purchase tickets for their upcoming fights. It appears that this unforeseen collaboration has amused Bill Haney. Here’s what the former champion and trainer has to say.

Bill Haney reveals what’s keeping him riveted

In the latest promotional clip, Rolando Romero and Keith Thurman present themselves, with the latter revealing the fight details. Despite Thurman’s confident tone, Rolly appears somewhat reserved. Both fighters announced their upcoming match-up on March 30th. Thurman revealed that the fight would be streamed on Amazon Prime PPV at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Soon Bill Haney took to Twitter to share a video reaction with the caption, “Good job Keith and Rolly working together works. 2 good fights. I will be watching.” Haney pointed out, “I never thought I’d see the day… Rolly Romero and Keith Thurman.” Moreover, he also made fun of Rolly and Thurman claiming, “But to see Rolly… can’t get it out of his mouth. Romero working hard, Keith, one time, did it in one take Thurman. For those reasons, I’ll be tuning in.” 

As Romero and Thurman prepare to fight one another, the promotional video has caught the attention of boxing experts. Even Terence Crawford couldn’t stop himself from commenting on the post.

Terence Crawford reveals the face of Thurman’s “girlfriend”

Terence Crawford playfully responded to Keith Thurman and Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero’s joint announcement of their upcoming event on Amazon Prime PPV. Crawford, taking to social media, humorously compared Romero in the video to a girlfriend. “Rolly sounds like your girlfriend,” Crawford quipped, poking fun at the duo’s presentation during the announcement.

Observing Thurman and Romero side by side, Crawford couldn’t resist commenting on their demeanor. Describing their stance as reminiscent of a couple, he highlighted the seemingly rehearsed sales pitch they delivered. Moreover, while Romero has yet to reply to ‘Bud’, Thurman has already made bold claims about giving Crawford a run for the money.
