Oscar De La Hoya has consistently proven his worth, whether in the ring or through getting the best boxing matchups. The boxer-turned-promoter has a legacy matched by none, which stems from his passion for the sport. As one of the most significant stakeholders in the industry, De La Hoya keeps his followers very engaged through his social media content. In one such post, the promoter posted a video of him skipping ropes in a fashion that might seem somewhat intimidating to even a seasoned fitness enthusiast.

From updates on the boxing matchups he’s promoting to his opinions on upcoming bouts, ‘The Golden Boy’ has something to say about everything. However, it is interesting to see when he makes the content about himself. Flaunting his robustness even at 50, he said, “50 and feeling 25, let’s go!!!!!” Well, rightly so. The video took his fans by storm.

The video immediately caught people’s attention, and they shared their thoughts in the comment section. His girlfriend Holly Sonders commented, “Better than ever 🔥 lucky that’s mine 🤤.” The couple who met at a boxing event, went Instagram official in 2021.

Professional boxer Ronny Rio wrote, “Their you go !!! I remember sugar Shane Mosley said in an interview once that you were the hardest working person on the national team. That you were the first one to finish the 3 mile run.

De La Hoya and Shane Mosley have faced each other twice in the boxing ring (2000 and 2003). While the former lost both fights, he gained respect from his opponent. In fact, their first fight was quite significant because De La Hoya and Mosley were childhood rivals and finally met as pros in their home city.

A user commented, And now [it’s] time to challenge Canelo!!”, while another questioned, “You vs Jake paul? I’d pay for that!!”

Another fan remembered the accolades ‘Golden Boy’ won throughout his career. “Mr. Gold Medal, 6 Barcelona Olympics, 1st Boxer to Win World Titles in 6 Divisions, and Chairman of Gi, not too shabby.”
