Prior to his bout against Jake Paul earlier this year, Tommy Fury had claimed that he would shift his focus to professional boxing after making quick work of Paul. However, even after achieving an easy victory against him, Fury has only shifted his focus to another YouTube boxer. Moreover, in a recent interview, he shared his plan on ending YouTube boxing. He stated that he will make a full circle back to fight Paul next year.
As Paul focused on his bout against UFC veteran Nate Diaz, the fight between KSI and Fury started brewing. The fight appeared to be all but made. However, KSI’s recent statements point at something else. JJ appeared to be infuriated as he didn’t mince his words. In a video that he uploaded on his YouTube channel, JJ stated that he doesn’t believe the fight will happen anymore. He stated that Fury is being “difficult” in their negotiation.

Fuming, KSI said, “We agreed on all the terms, we agreed on paying you exactly what you asked for. We agreed on rounds and to fight at 180 with no rehydration clause.” With the signs of the fight falling apart coming forth, Paul has landed the final nail in the coffin.
Jake Paul reveals what’s on his mind
Paul and KSI have been rivals for a long time, so when the opportunity showed up for him to disrupt JJ’s plans, ‘The Problem Child’ quickly capitalized on it. Jake Paul is determined to seek revenge for his only career loss against Tommy Fury and has unveiled his plans for a rematch later this year after his upcoming fight with Nate Diaz on August 5.
Paul took to Twitter to publicly challenge Fury and expressed his intention to face him in the ring during October. In fact, he stated, “As early as October, I’ve instructed my team to send Tommy Fury the contract for a rematch. But first, I must handle my business on August 5, and then we can settle it.”

Paul appears eager to embrace this challenge, despite the quick turnaround after his match with Diaz. He even provided specific details regarding the proposed rematch, specifying the weight and duration by saying, “185 pounds. 10 rounds. Simple.” This can be seen as a jab to Jake’s brother, Logan Paul’s PRIME Hydration as KSI has refused Fury’s demand of the fight to be held in 185.
