Deontay Wilder has predicted the potential outcome of his fight with Anthony Joshua. As per the statements made by ‘The Bronze Bomber’, the duration of the fight would entirely be proportional to Joshua’s mindset and approach to the bout. To some extent, Wilder’s views seem to be in agreement with what Eddie Hearn earlier said. In Hearn’s opinion, if Joshua is “tentative” against Wilder, then ‘The Bronze Bomber’ would “walk him down”. However, Hearn added, “Whoever lands clean is winning the fight“.
Almost echoing the previous statements of Hearn, Wilder has now predicted two different outcomes given Joshua’s approach and mindset. While in one scenario Wilder predicted an early stoppage, in another he predicted a victory in only the 4th round of the fight! Here is what ‘The Bronze Bomber’ said.

Either way, Deontay Wilder predicts the annihilation of Anthony Joshua in the ring
Deontay Wilder is confident in his ability to knock out Anthony Joshua at the potential $400M mega event in the Middle East. In fact, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ believes the fight would hardly exceed the 4th round irrespective of Joshua’s preparation. In his opinion, if a “timid and scared” Joshua enters the ring, the fight would end “early”. However, if Wilder has the fortune to face “a more confident” ‘AJ’, the bout could go “a little bit longer than three [rounds]”.

“It’s really gonna be up to Joshua. If he brings a Joshua that’s timid and scared, it’s probably gonna go early. If he brings a more confident Joshua, it may go a little bit longer than three, it may go four,” stated Deontay Wilder. In this context, it is worth mentioning that Shakur Stevenson also recently predicted that Wilder would win via KO in the ring. “Wilder by KO,” Stevenson said.
