The highly anticipated showdown between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder has created enormous buzz over the past year. Fans and experts alike have speculated when the fight would actually take place. Some have even suggested the clash would never happen. However, Eddie Hearn has been adamant about organizing the fight, having previously failed to gather the funds to host it in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua’s activity in the ring has been sparse since 2021, having fought in just four bouts. Even among those four matchups, Joshua lost two against Oleksandr Usyk consecutively. However, the latest update from Eddie Hearn suggests that would not happen anytime soon. Meanwhile, the update from Hearn also suggests ‘AJ’ would fight someone else.
