After UFC Debacle, Roy Jones Jr. Invites Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg to Battle It Out In a “Gentlemen’s” Boxing Match

Although they initially got in touch with Dana White, Elon Musk recently announced that his MMA fight with Mark Zuckerberg will be managed by “my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC)”. In this context, the world’s richest man declared that he had already spoken to “the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture” for “an epic location“. However, since their “attempts to battle it out in other arenas have fallen short,” former four-division world champion, Roy Jones Jr. has now proposed Zuckerberg and Musk to step inside the boxing ring.

Besides suggesting a boxing match, the 54-year-old took to Instagram and declared that he would personally ref the bout between the two business magnates. Since “boxing is a gentleman’s sport” and both Musk and Zuckerberg “embody that spirit,” Jones Jr. is convinced that they should only “settle the score inside a boxing ring“.

Taking to Instagram, Jones Jr. said, “I invite you guys to accept this challenge.” Should Zuckerberg and Musk accept his invitation, it will be Jones Jr.’s “honor and my pleasure to put on a five-round contest“. “And I will serve as the referee to ensure a fair and unforgettable night. Gentlemen, let’s make it happen,” he encouragingly added.

In this context, Jones Jr. also mentioned that boxing is a gentleman’s sport. “Boxing is a gentleman’s sport, and I believe you both embody that spirit,” he said. “If you accept, it would be my honor to organize a three to five-round bout, serving as the referee to ensure a fair and unforgettable contest,” the 54-year-old concluded. Following Jones Jr.’s statements, it is likely that Musk and Zuckerberg would consider the boxing ring another option for their fight! However, it is also worth mentioning that Musk will have to recover from minor surgery before entering the squared circle.

Musk needs a “few months” to recover from “minor surgery” before he can fight

Due to his right shoulder rubbing against his ribs, Musk informed that he would require minor surgery. While his “C5/C6 fusion is solid,” Musk declared he would need a few months to recover from the surgery. “There is a problem with my right shoulder blade rubbing against my ribs, which requires minor surgery,” Musk informed on X.
