After Slamming Tommy Fury for “Disgraceful” Post, KSI Under Hot Waters as Fans Blast Him for Using His Girlfriend as “Hype Meter”

When someone is in the business of social media, the spotlight is always on them. Scrutiny from their fans follows them around, jumping at every comment they make. Recently, KSI found himself in a similar situation after a clip went viral on X. He had previously commented on an Instagram picture from Tommy Fury, claiming it was a thirst trap. He even asked Fury to delete it because it was disgraceful. But why is KSI facing the heat now?

For quite some time, the Dillon-Logan drama had taken over the headlines, keeping KSI and Tommy away from the public eye. However, all that changed after Sidemen Updates shared a clip on their X (Twitter) handle. The clip was from a recent livestream with Adin Ross, where KSI described his girlfriend’s reaction to his sparring session. Subsequently, fans quickly caught up to what KSI was trying to do, alleging he was using his girlfriend as a tool to hype up the fight. 

KSI is under fire after a new clip came to life

In the Sidemen Updates clip, KSI described his girlfriend’s mindset going into the fight. He said, “My Girlfriend was very, very nervous. She was like, I don’t know about this Tommy fight. I am f**king terrified like Tommy is a big guy. I saw what he did to Jake.” KSI then claimed that his girlfriend saw him spar and was completely relieved of all the worries. He said, “This week, I sparred terribly, and she was like, yeah, I f**king understand.” However, fans did not seem convinced by the analysis from KSI’s girlfriend. 

According to one user, it’s nothing but a way for KSI to create interest around his upcoming bout against Fury. The user said, “Lil guy using his gf as an hype meter.” 

Another user raised an interesting question. The comment from the user read, “What his girlfriend knows about boxing?” KSI has not revealed the identity of her girlfriend to keep her away from the online world. So, unless she is an expert in boxing, the user has a valid point.

The next user had the same idea. The user said, “How tf would she know, shes not Teddy Atlas.” Teddy Atlas is a former professional boxer turned coach and host. Moreover, he has trained well-known boxers like Mike Tyson and Michael Moorer. The user questions KSI’s girlfriend’s ability to analyze a fight.

Someone else said, “Damn ok. Now I can rest easy if ksi’s girlfriend confirms his skill level.” The user resorted to sarcasm to describe his thoughts about claims from KSI’s girlfriend. 

While the clip received a lot of opinions against KSI, one remained supportive. The comment read, “Even Floyds wife/gf was nervous when he fought.”
