The WBC recently ordered Shakur Stevenson to a lightweight title fight against Frank Martin. Following Stevenson’s victory against Shuichiro Yoshino, a number of events have taken place in the lightweight division of boxing. Gervonta Davis defeated Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney devoured a controversial win against Vasyl Lomchenko. Ahead of the Martin fight ordered by the WBC, Stevenson and Haney also engaged in banter and spoke about an offer.
However, the WBC wants Stevenson to fight Frank Martin next in a lightweight title fight. But, if the Martin fight somehow breaks down, Edwin De Los Santos wants to step in and face Stevenson in the ring. Likewise, De Los Santos declared that he wanted all the smoke Stevenson could offer him.

Edwin De Los Santos is ready to face Shakur Stevenson in the ring
Edwin De Los Santos has won the WBC Continental America’s Lightweight title. He is 23 years old and as of now has a record of 1 loss and 16 wins. Quite impressively, 14 of his victories have come by the way of a knockout. However, it is to be noted that De Los Santos has not yet taken part in a 12-round boxing match in his professional career. While he has not yet fought anyone remarkable, De Los Santos believes that he can tackle Stevenson in the ring.

Likewise, Edwin De Los Santos proudly declared, “Shakur Stevenson, I hear you don’t have no opponent. I want all the smoke.” Hopefully, De Los Santos is not deluded and means his words. Now only a boxing match can tell whether or not he can tackle Stevenson.
