According to Jose Benavidez Sr., Jermell Charlo has a golden chance to overthrow Canelo Alvarez on September 30th, reshaping the boxing landscape. He shared his surprise as he found out that instead of Jermall, Jermell is going to face off against the undisputed super middleweight champion. In his interview with FightHype, he claimed to be happy at the matchup. Furthermore, he also shared his understanding of the situation stating, “We [David Benavidez] keep trying, we keep training, and we got to be ready for the opportunities, and things are the way they are, and they’re going to be that way.”
