In a legal dispute, a Californian, Eduardo Andres Torres Martinez, has filed a lawsuit against renowned boxer Floyd Mayweather. The plaintiff alleges that Mayweather instructed one of his bodyguards to assault him during an altercation. The incident took place at a Yard House restaurant in Los Angeles near Crypto.Com Arena on February 10, 2022 and was replete with a series of chaotic events.
Notably, this occurred almost two years ago but has now become the subject of legal action as Martinez seeks redress for the alleged assault involving the boxing legend’s bodyguard. This instance has definitely raised a lot of questions and eyebrows. However, a savior has arrived to support Mayweather’s case.
Floyd Mayweather gets a witness from his side

The legal complaint contends that during the incident, Floyd Mayweather, aged 46, observed the actions of Torres Martinez. Allegedly, Mayweather or a member of his team gave a signal to his bodyguards. As per the lawsuit, at the direction of the Mayweather Money Team, one of the bodyguards approached Torres Martinez and struck him. This caused him to fall to the ground.
Subsequently, the bodyguard engaged in a struggle with the plaintiff, attempting to confiscate his cell phone, resulting in further injuries and damages. The filing asserts that due to these acts, the plaintiff experienced significant fear for his life, health, and safety. Martinez had also filed a battery report at the time of the occurrence.

Now, after a couple of years, he seeks “general damages for past, present and future pain, distress, anguish and suffering, including physical and mental pain and suffering, inconvenience, emotional stress, and impairment of the quality of life.”
But according to the sources presented by the TMZ, they’ve found a witness who has contradicted the parts of Martinez’s story. He has claimed that Mayweather wasn’t even present at the venue when the incident occurred that night. According to a representative for Floyd Mayweather, the legendary boxer visited the restaurant but decided to leave due to overcrowding.
