Former World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki was the first woman from a Scandinavian country to hold the top spot in rankings. She held that position for 71 weeks in her career. She also won 30 WTA singles titles, indicating her dominance on the women’s Tour.
Recently, Caroline Wozniacki remembered the proud moment when she lifted the flag of Denmark during the Olympic Games in Rio. As the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics began, Caroline had fond memories of herself being amongst those athletes in the previous edition.
She went onto social media, revealed her feelings, and stated, “One of the proudest moments of my career being the flag bearer at the Olympics for my home country of Denmark! Good luck to all the athletes competing this year in Tokyo! I will be watching and supporting!”
