The hacking issue in Call of Duty: Warzone has reached its peak following a massive outrage from the community. Fans of the game have berated the developers at Activision and Raven Software for allowing cheaters to run rampant. This has caused a serious dent in the experience, and the players don’t enjoy playing the game anymore.

For the past few months, various content creators and streamers have joined forces in the fight against hackers. British YouTuber and Sidemen member Vikkstar took the lead in this issue after his decision to quit the game because of hackers gained widespread attention earlier this year. Since then he has returned and maintained an open line of communication with the developers to fix the problem. However, it seems like that might not be the case anymore.

Vikkstar’s views about the hacking situation in Call of Duty: Warzone

Earlier this year, Call of Duty: Warzone faced its first major wave of hackers in the game. For a long time, the developers at Raven Software and Activision did nothing about it. During this time, Vikkstar posted a video of him facing cheaters on Verdansk who were streaming their hacking antics on Facebook Gaming. He later explained in his video that this was the primary cause for his departure from the popular Battle Royale title.

His video about the issue spread like a wildfire in the community and the international media as well. This forced the developers to introduce ban waves, where they suspended thousands of accounts from the game. Following that, Vikkstar later announced that he had a direct line of communication with Activision to talk about this issue.

Vikkstar doesn’t have contacts anymore at Activision

Since then, the issue has worsened for the game and the communication between the British YouTuber and the developers. Vikkstar recently revealed during a stream that his contacts in Activision don’t respond to him anymore. Along with that, he later stated that his two best contacts in Activision have even left the company, leaving him in the dark.

“They leave me on read bro every day. The two best contacts I had at Activision, they have both left the company.”

It’s a shame that popular content creators of Warzone can’t even with the developers anymore. Along with that, it’s even worse with Vikkstar as he is the co-owner of a Call of Duty League franchise in the London Royal Ravens. The evidence suggests that Activision has no intent to fix the game, and it seems like the community might reach its breaking point soon.
