Last week, Infinity Ward and Activision launched Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare, bringing in a range of exciting content. In Warzone, the update introduced players to the subway system, a new Armored Royale mode, and some tweaks to the weapons rotation system, among other changes.

Season 6 also changed things up when it comes to weapon adjustments. Verdansk has witnessed quite the shift in meta compared to the previous season. However, one thing that hasn’t changed is the importance of a proper loadout for winning games.

Call of Duty content creator WhosImmortal has detailed some of the best loadouts to use in Warzone Season 6.

Best loadouts for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6

Primary weapon: Grau 5.56, Secondary weapon: MP5

The Grau 5.56 was undisputedly the best weapon in Warzone for quite some time with negligent recoil and significant range and damage. However, after multiple nerfs, its range and control are not as mighty anymore. Despite that, the Grau is still an incredibly consistent AR. Also, it is pretty convenient to put to proper use.

Grau 5.56 attachments: Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor, Barrel – Tempus 26.4″ Archangel, Laser – Tac Laser, Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip, Ammunition – 60 Round Mag.

The MP5 is hands-down, one of the best, if not the best SMG in Verdansk’s entirety. Although it might not be useful beyond close-medium range combat, the MP5 is that fine margin between winning and losing close-quarter gunfights. From mobility and control to damage, everything is excellent.

MP5 attachments: Barrel – Monolithic Integral Suppressor, Underbarrel – Merc Foregrip, Rear Grip – Stippled Grip Tape, Ammunition – 45 Round Mag, Perk – Sleight of Hand.

Primary weapon: MP7, Secondary weapon: SP-R 208

While the MP5 might just be the best SMG in the game, the MP7 comes next in that regard, currently. The range on this weapon is quite extensive, and it also has decent mobility. Overall, the MP7 is a very consistent SMG at all ranges, not just in close-quarters engagements.

MP7 attachments: Muzzle- Monolithic Suppressor, Barrel – FSS Recon, Laser- Tac Laser, Ammunition – 60 Round Mags, Rear Grip – Stippled Grip Tape.

Meanwhile, SP-R 208 is the talk of the town right now. This new marksman rifle functions as a hit-scan sniper up to long ranges, making it easier to register hits consistently. SP-R 208 feels like the most satisfying weapon to use, as one can keep knocking down enemies with it.

SP-R 208 attachments: Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor, Barrel – SP-R 26″, Laser- Tac Laser, Optic – Solozero SP-R 28mm, Ammunition – 38 Lapua Mag 5-R Mags.

Primary weapon: M4A1, Secondary weapon: Kar98K

Despite this being an AR/Sniper class, it is pretty effective in high-octane rush gameplay if appropriately utilized. As if the Kar98K’s one-shot kill potential was not satisfying enough, it also promotes aggressive sniping. It keeps the enemies pinned down, creating an opportunity to get close and overrun them with the M4A1. One has to facilitate the M4A1 with proper attachments to make it better suited for rushing opponents while maintaining its overall effectiveness.

Some other Season 6 weapon loadouts

Primary weapon: AS Val, Any secondary weapon

The newly introduced AS Val is the centerpiece of this loadout. Although this AR has the potential to be deadly, the other new weapon, SP-R 208, outshines it. The AS Val has a small magazine size even with extended mags, making it a little less effective than other assault rifles.

Players can use this AR as an SMG alternative in close and medium-range combat. For the secondary, running a marksman rifle, sniper, or another AR seems feasible.

AS Val attachments: Barrel – VLK 200mm Osa, Laser -? Tac Laser, Underbarrel – Merc Foregrip, Ammunition – 30 Round Mags, Rear Grip – Stippled Grip Tape.

Primary weapon: Kilo 141, Any secondary weapon

Many players consider Kilo 141 as one of the best weapons in the entire game currently. This AR is incredibly consistent in every aspect, making it an all-rounder weapon. It is accurate at long range gunfights as well as devastating in close-quarters combat.

Kilo 141 attachments: Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor, Barrel – Singuard Arms 19.8″ Prowler, Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip, Ammunition – 60 Round Mags, Optic – Corp Combat Holo Sight.

For a secondary, players could either use a shotgun, SMG, or sniper, according to their choice. Perhaps the Origin 12 would have been worth considering. But due to the shotgun’s recent nerf, its counterpart, the R-9 0, has emerged as a viable option. Combined with the Kilo 141, it is a lethal setup overall.

R-9 0 attachments: Muzzle – Choke, Barrel- Forge Tac Sentry, Laser – 5mW Laser, Ammunition – Dragon’s Breath Rounds, Rear Grip – Stippled Grip Tape.

Meanwhile, the perks and equipment vary from player to player. Some stick to the same stuff on all setups, while others keep swapping classes as they like. E.O.D, Overkill, Amped, and Ghost are some perks players could try with the loadouts mentioned above.

Although the C4 got nerfed recently, it is still very useful in building engagements or blowing up vehicles. Other pieces of equipment, like Thermite and Semtex, are also fully capable. To wrap things up, the Heartbeat Sensor is a must bring.
