Activision had skipped out on E3 2021, the biggest gaming conference of the year, leaving fans confused. However, days later, reports emerged that it wanted to hold on to reveal its upcoming title, Call of Duty: Vanguard. The World War II title will not only have a standalone version but will also see a Call of Duty: Warzone integration.
Treyarch integrated Warzone with Black Ops Cold War at a much later stage. However, in the case of Vanguard, the developers will immediately integrate the two titles. Therefore, according to VGC, the developers have already started to work on a new map for Call of Duty: Warzone. Moreover, this map is rumored to be much larger than Verdansk.

As the Cold War theme arrived at Warzone, Verdansk also got an appropriate makeover. Therefore, once the World War II theme arrives, it would be time once again for the map to get another overhaul. According to certain datamines, the map is going to take place on a Pacific island and is going to be huge.
With a larger map, fans can expect the player limit of a single lobby to be as high as 250 players in a single game. Apart from the player limit, another change that comes to the map would be the ability of players to destroy structures. It wouldn’t be as far as Battlefield games which let players decimate highrise structures.
Call of Duty: Warzone would feature mechanics like Rainbow Six Seige, which allows players to destroy doors of buildings. Moreover, with the right amount of firepower, they can even punch holes in walls. This would make the game even interesting as camping would be lesser of an issue.
