Call of Duty: Warzone developers have faced a lot of criticism over the last few months about their handling of the hacking problems. Players from around the world have complained about cheaters plaguing almost every lobby in the game. This has caused players to lose interest in the game, and switch over to other titles of the genre like Apex Legends and Fortnite.
However, the developers recently added new content to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War following the arrival of Season 5. Along with that, they have also updated the community with some hopeful news about the hacking problems. But will it be enough to keep the fans of the game happy?

Call of Duty: Warzone might receive an anti-cheat soon
Call of Duty: Warzone recently added some new content as part of Season 5. The game now has two new weapons in the EM2 Assault Rifle and the TEC-9 SMG. Along with that, the game will also receive more weapons during the season as well. However, other than that, the game doesn’t really have anything massive for player to return and dip their hands in it.
Other than that, Warzone has received nothing substantial to prevent any hackers from entering lobbies. But, the developers at Raven Software recently shared something hopeful for the fans after banning another 50,000 hackers in the game. The developers mentioned that they are working on something to improve the situation, and many believe that it might be an anti-cheat.
🚫 Today we banned over 50,000 accounts in #Warzone.
More importantly, we are listening and hard at work behind the scenes.

The anti-cheat might already be in-effect
Recently, popular Youtuber jackfrags talked about players complaining in cheating forums about hacking on Warzone. He mentioned that players have had a hard time using hardware ID and IP spoofers to prevent their device from receiving a ban. This allowed them to create new accounts in Call of Duty: Warzone on the same device. But, recently, cheaters have noticed that the game bans these new accounts as well quite quickly. This has provided fans with a glimmer of hope that the developers might be working on an anti-cheat that will work very well when it arrives.

For now, it seems like the developers have found a temporary solution for a massive cheating tool for the game. However, it remains to be seen if this solution will hold up for a long time. Along with that, players want to see more preventive measures for other hacking tools in Warzone. Hopefully, the developers finally release a robust anti-cheat that the community loves.
