The Nail Gun arrived in Call of Duty Warzone with Season 4. Players had been waiting for the weapon for a long time, and it is finally a part of the arsenal now. Another variant of the Nail Gun, named the DIY 11 Renovator, first appeared in Black Ops 3, and is arguably one of the most popular weapons in the franchise’s history.

Within just hours of its release, the Nail Gun has become a popular choice in the Warzone community. It does not allow any gunsmith customizations but still seems dominant on the battlefield.

If fired with proper accuracy, the Nail Gun is definitely broken. It only takes 4 shots to kill, with a TTK of 350 milliseconds. However, if you hit the opponents on either stomach or limbs, the TTK increases to 467 milliseconds.

Having said that, experienced as well as professional players do not miss their shots a lot. For anyone who’s been playing Warzone since its release, the Nail Gun is undoubtedly a blessing.

For instance, FaZe Testy said that the Nail Gun is overpowered and backed his claims with this gameplay video.

Will Raven Software nerf the Nail Gun?

Even though pro players have proved that the Nail Gun is way too strong, it is unlikely that Raven Software will nerf the weapon. This is primarily because only a small group of players can actually make the best out of it.

Casual players, who often miss their shots, won’t find the Nail Gun useful. In fact, the weapon does not handle any attachments, which implies that there’s no way to adjust its ADS speed, firing rate, magazine size, and other things. Hence, it is safe to assume that only professional and experienced players will use the Nail Gun.
