Call of Duty Warzone’s first-ever Halloween event starts today. The Haunting of Verdansk is going to be a limited-time event. The final trailer for it released yesterday and the hype around the event seems justified after watching it.
This is perhaps Warzone’s best-produced event to date. In fact, it incorporates two all-time favorite horror film franchises in Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Saw series. Bundles for both are now available in store.

Easter Eggs are a big part of Call of Duty right now, and Verdansk is not backing out of the party. Black Ops: Cold War beta weekend gave us a lot of Easter Eggs on zombies and further content coming to the game.
Warzone, on the other hand, is taking its movie commitments to another level. So apart from the gamers, horror movie fans are going to enjoy a taste of the hidden clues inside Verdansk. Let us have a look at some of them.

First, from the trailer we get glimpses of two snaps that seem to tease an upcoming Texas Chainsaw movie.
These lead us to a website that teases the sequel of the Texas Chainsaw film, coming out in 2021. Fans can go to the site and enter their email to receive an exclusive calling card and poster drop in their account.

Furthermore, look out for ‘tricks and treats’ inside Verdansk. Billy the Puppet might just be more than a store bundle. The creep and gore are totally smudged into this event and therefore it will be safe to expect a fair few jump scares.
