Over the last few months, Call of Duty: Warzone has done a great job at providing exciting content to players. The storyline surrounding new seasons, as well as weapons and operators, have all been a blast to play with. However, the game still lacks on various other fronts, due to which many players are unhappy.
Call of Duty: Warzone has always been on the heavier end of games, both in terms of graphics and memory. Therefore, console players always end up getting the shorter end of the stick when new updates come out. A major disadvantage they face against PC players is the lack of a FOV slider. With their field of vision capped at 80, they seriously lack proper visibility.
Infinity Ward had previously given hopes to Warzone players, promising they are working on bringing a mechanism that lets console players change their FOV. However, they failed to do so even after multiple attempts. Fortunately, a newer generation of consoles has given a new ray of hope to players.

Call of Duty: Warzone might soon offer FOV slider to new-gen consoles
The new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are far better than the PS4 and the Xbox One. Not only do they offer better frames, but they also have much better CPUs and GPUs. Naturally, if Infinity Ward failed to implement a FOV slider on previous-gen consoles, this won’t be the case again.

With all the power the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S have to offer, Raven Software has promised that it can definitely bring the FOV slider to consoles. This means that players can play on their desired field of vision and not have to stick to 80, which is extremely low.
Bringing the FOV slider to Call of Duty: Warzone on Xbox Series X|S would not be a mammoth task for Raven Software. The Xbox consoles already have their own version of the game. They also offer players the option of players at 120FPS, something that is still not available to PS5 players.

Call of Duty: Warzone essentially uses backward compatibility to run on the PS5. This means Raven will have to develop a separate PS5 version of the game to introduce the FOV slider. However, considering how many players are desperately waiting for this feature, Raven will have to figure out a way to make this a possibility soon.
