The Call of Duty community has been absolutely buzzing this year. Infinity Ward’s free-to-play Battle Royale title, Call of Duty Warzone has truly been the talk fo the town since it released in March. By May, the number of players in Warzone had grown to a jaw-dropping 60 million. Naturally, a community as big as that comes with its share of challenges. Over these last two months or so, Infinity Ward has had to deal with multiple issues and expectations. While there is still a lot left to be desired, you cannot deny the devs have been rather responsive.
Call of Duty Warzone is complete
When the game launched on March 10, call of Duty Warzone had one simple mode- Trios. You jumped into the battlefield, consisting of a total of 150 players, as a squad of three. It wasn’t too long before the devs decided to replace Trios with Quads mode. The more the merrier sounds quite nice but doesn’t always work out for everyone. After a bit of protesting from a section of the community, devs obliged and brought Trios mode back again.

Although it hasn’t really been all that long, it has felt like an eternity. Having said that, we have to give the developers due credit. Surely it hasn’t been all too easy given the fact that they’ve had to work remotely.

The best thing about this news is the Duos mode does not come at a cost of any other mode. We finally have all four major modes in Call of Duty Warzone.
Moreover, the new mode comes at a perfect time as we go into the Double XP weekend as Season 3 of Modern Warfare wraps up. Season 4 will begin on June 3 and will feature a return of the fan-favorite character, Captain Price, as an operator.
