The DMR-14 has terrorized Call of Duty Warzone players ever since Activision integrated two of its latest Call of Duty titles. It was one of the Black Ops Cold War weapons, apart from the Mac-10 and the Akimbo pistols, that arrived in the Battle Royale game. Subsequently, the guns took over the meta from Warzone weapons.
The powerful nature of these weapons led to everyone in the lobby using them. Due to popular demand and community outcry, Raven Software decided to nerf the weapons. While this certainly made a lot of players happy, it did end up destroying the dreams of many others.

Prior to January 10, 2020, the holders of the World Record for the highest number of kills in Call of Duty Warzone was popular streamer Vikkstar’s party. His squad, including Abezy, Cellium, and Priestahh, managed to set the record with 138 kills in a single game. Since May 2020, the record seemed like it had been set in stone. However, the DMR-14 and Mac-10 helped a squad break this record.
A Squad gets 143 kills in a single Call of Duty Warzone game to set World Record
A Call of Duty Warzone lobby houses 150 people per game. Therefore, when Vikkstar’s squad got 138/146 kills in a single match, it seemed impossible to recreate, far be it from crossing the count. However, when streamers TheMylesLive, Stukawaki, ScummN, and 62yKreJ dropped in Verdansk about a week ago, they were all set to break this record.

Abusing the meta at that moment, they all dropped with DMR-14 and Mac-10 loadouts. When they finished the match, they were the holders of a new world record. With 143/146 kills in a single game, the squad set a record that might be impossible to beat.

Raven Software’s nerf of the weapons in Call of Duty Warzone limits the chance for players to beat this record. Many players failed to notice a change in the weapon even after the nerf. So there might still be a window in which some can break this record. However, if Raven is determined to roll out a patch to nerf these weapons for good, this window is probably very small.
Even after the broken weapons came out, it took a squad almost a month to set this record. Therefore, if a patch comes within that time, TheMylesLive, Stukawaki, ScummN, and 62yKreJ can comfortably sit on their thrones for the rest of Call of Duty Warzone’s natural life.
