When Call of Duty Warzone announced that a Season 2 Reloaded Update will release at the end of March, most fans expected a major weapon tuning update. But the game didn’t really receive a massive overhaul in the weapons department, which has surprised a lot of players.
The developers have introduced a lot of attachment updates, such as the Takedown Barrel. This has changed some weapons in the game which might influence the choice of loadouts for a lot of players.
The AUG and FFAR remain at the top in Call of Duty Warzone

The game’s most overpowered weapons before Season 2 Reloaded were the FFAR and AUG, and that doesn’t change after the update. According to the latest patch notes, the AUG received a major increase in the recoil department. But as it is a burst weapon, the recoil doesn’t affect the gun heavily and because of the damage, players can still continue to use it efficiently.

The attachment update to the takedown barrel has made it useless because of the low strafe speed upgrade. Along with that, the 50 round fast mag was also nerfed, which inhibits players from using the FFAR in medium-range because of the slow ADS. But the gun is still very useful to use in short ranges to complement the AUG, which is good in the long-range department.
The FFAR can also join forces with a sniper-like the Kar98k. Players can use the Kar98 with the Monolithic suppressor, which makes it one of the best snipers in the game, but the FFAR needs some tweaking from the AUG loadout. Instead of the 38 round fast mag, players can use the 50 round mags as players will use the FFAR as their primary weapon for most fights.
The AMAX/MAC-10 loadout might become the meta for a lot of players
The AMAX can dish out a lot of damage in the medium and long-range department similar to that of the AUG. Players can argue that it is probably the second-best AR in the game, only behind the FFAR. To go along with it, players can use the best SMG in the game, the MAC-10.
At close ranges, it is the most lethal weapon in the game, as it has a very high fire rate. Along with that, it also dishes out a lot of damage, provides great mobility which allows players to use different techniques and peeks while engaging with opponents.

The M16 and the Bullfrog is one of the least talked about loadouts in the community. The M16 has the second-best TTK in Warzone, only behind the AUG. Players who don’t prefer the AUG’s recoil can use the M16 as it has much better control. The Bullfrog is one of the better SMGs in the game as it has great damage, range, and TTK. If the MAC-10 ever gets adjusted, the bullfrog most probably will become the meta SMG in Warzone.
Finally, players can also try another Sniper-SMG combo with the Tundra and the Modern Warfare MP5. The Tundra is one of the best snipers in the game, and it has become better with the attachment changes. The MP5 has always been a powerhouse weapon in Warzone, and it has stayed the test of time. While it may not be overpowering like the MAC-10, it can still hold its own.

So far, no new meta weapons have been revealed since the new update. If Activision ever decides to nerf popular guns such as the FFAR, it could create a major meta shift in Warzone. But until then, players will have to endure the wrath of weapons like the AUG and the MAC-10.
