Infinity Ward and Activision just cannot get a break these days. Their new Battle Royale title, Call of Duty Warzone, has proven to be just as big a headache as a success. On the one hand, they have been quite receptive to the demands of their 50 million+ users. On the other, though, they haven’t done themselves any favors with issues and bugs scattered throughout the game. While the hacker issue within the game remains their biggest hurdle, they now have another issue regarding the Battle Pass.
Call of Duty Warzone has managed to capture the interest of a horde of gamers. While the BR genre is at its peak right now, Infinity Ward’s maiden venture has won over non-regulars too. However, in order to keep those gamers around, devs need to shore up on their issues, and quickly.

The most recent issue to miff users has to do with the season’s Battle Pass. Costing around $10 or 1000 CoD points, a Battle Pass gives players access to multiple tiers of content, challenges, and so forth. The problem that many players have faced is that their XP points are not being registered on their Passes. Unsurprisingly, disgruntled users took to twitter and the Activision support page to voice their discontent.

While the hacker problem has proven a head-scratcher for the developers, issues like this one should really be an easy fix for them. In an ideal world, it would never have cropped up in the first place. Alas, this is not even the first time Warzone has thrown up this bug.
What has exacerbated the problem is that Activision had offered Double XP this weekend. Naturally, users were happy to double down on their effort to garner as much XP as possible. Now imagine your Battle Pass simply ignored all that and showed no progress on your seasonal pass.

Once again, though, to their credit, the developers have been quick to respond to the complaints lodged by users.
