After months of waiting, Call of Duty fans finally have a new season for fans to experience. Season 5 of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will drop tonight at 9 PM PT and fans can’t wait to try it out. The developers have added a lot of new and exciting content for them to play, and the patch notes prove just that.

The patch notes of Season 5 reveal all the new maps, weapons and operator arriving in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. The multiplayer title of the franchise will even receive a new mode in Double Agent that has received some hype. Along with that, both games will have some massive changes, including some weapon tunings.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone add a lot of new content

The patch notes of Season 5 reveal some of the biggest additions to the titles of Call of Duty. This includes the arrival of a new operator in Kitsune and two free Battle Pass weapons in the EM2 Assault Rifle and the TEC-9 SMG. Later in the season, players will also receive the Marshal Shotgun pistol and the Cane Melee weapon in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.

Multiplayer will also receive five new maps for players to experience. This includes Echelon, Showroom, Slums, Zoo and Drive-In. Along with that, Black Ops Cold War will also receive a new mode in Double Agent, where every player becomes a suspect to the others. The developers will also bring back Demolition, and they have also added a new scorestreak in the Flamethrower.

Weapon Tunings and new Zombie items to use

Black Ops Cold War has also received additional content for Zombies as well. This includes the arrival of a new perk in Death Perception, Field Upgrade in Tesla Storm, and Flamethrower as a support weapon as well. Outbreak will also have a new region, objective, crafting item, tank and intel that will continue the story following the events of the Mauer Der Toten DLC.

The developers have also adjusted a lot of weapons, especially in the Assault Rifle and SMG departments. They have massively nerfed AR attachments. However, they have buffed weapons like the XM4, FFAR 1, Groza, FARA 83, C58 and many more. They have also nerfed SMGs like the KSP 45 and LC10.

It seems like the developers have made some major strides with the changes to the weapons in Call of Duty. It remains to be seen how they will affect the gameplay. However, the community should have a positive reaction to all the new additions to the popular FPS franchise.
