Something or the other always keeps popping up in the Call of Duty Warzone, rendering the game either unplayable or terribly unbalanced. The latest issue to take the blame is the Bruen MK9 LMG in the game. This gun is facing the same blame and hate as the Grau did until it was nerfed.

Before getting nerfed, the Grau was insanely overpowered, dealing heavy damage in mid-long range as well. Obviously, the game remained pretty unbalanced until the nerf because the gun gave the player a great advantage in combat. It was extremely stable with a range good enough to be used as a marksman rifle, when in skilled hands.

Right now, the Bruen has kind of become the next Grau. The Bruen MK9 has an extremely low reload time, almost on the verge of instant reload. In addition to this, the gun has very low recoil compared to what one would expect from an LMG. Some have also complained about the gun’s range. Not being biased against WZ, but it seems like the weapons’ balance in the game takes a backseat at times.

Call of Duty League analyst Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler recently posted a tweet blaming the Bruen for ruining the game. Nickmercs replied to his tweet, offering his two cents on the issue.

NAMELESS goes on to explain how the Bruen MK9 is an OP gun in the WZ arsenal right now.

Another player added how the gun is close to reaching saturation of usage.

In that tweet, he mentions that the Bruen takes no skill.

And we think a lot of players out there will agree that the players wielding this gun are putting others at a disadvantage. It took two attempts to finally nerf the Grau and many players still consider it lethal. But at least it is not powerful in unfair proportions anymore. Surely, Activision will have to do the same to the Bruen MK9, and soon at that. Otherwise, the game will just remain unfair, with its persisting cheat-infection.
