On Wednesday, May 27, the developers published the first official trailer for the next chapter in Modern Warfare and Warzone. Titled “The Story So Far,” the trailer suggests that the story is far from over. It highlights the MW campaign’s narrative since its release in October 2019, which extended further in Spec Ops missions, and eventually into Warzone.

Towards the end of the video, Captain John Price and other Operators are shown standing in the C130 airplane, preparing to descend into Verdansk. He says, “Bravo Six, going dark,” right before the trailer ends.

Meanwhile, Activision detailed the game’s story in a blog by breaking down key moments to bring players up to speed. They mentioned Price nominating the final squad member for Task Force 141 in their pursuit for Mr Z. Moreover, Activision plans on releasing more character biographies in the build-up to the upcoming season.

Thus, it seems that Captain Price will be at least one of the latest Operators joining the multiplayer and battle royale’s roster in Season 4. For information on the other new Operator(s), we’ll have to wait and watch in the coming days. You can read Activision’s blog about MW’s storyline by clicking here.
