Call of Duty Mobile Season 12 is something all players (except Fennec abusers) are waiting for to get over. It came to light a couple of days ago that CoDM has secretly decided to delay the next season.

While it was supposed to release in the second week of December, Season 13 will now release on the 22nd of this month, latest. Players can notice the change in the Battle Pass menu. As usual, CoDM has added more free stuff for the time being. Six more days of login rewards and events surrounding Battle Royale and multiplayer modes.

Truth be said, none of the free items from this season, expect from the Knights Divided event, were worth the grind. The seasonal events are becoming more and more trash with each passing season. The only highlight in Season 12 was unlocking the base version of the Deagle.

What went wrong with Season 12 of Call of Duty Mobile?

Season 12 for CoDM was where it feels like they deliberately made all the mistakes. Activision released a mythic rarity of a weapon that was already overpowered. Furthermore, the Fennec Ascended cost players a ton of cash and nerfing it within three weeks would only raise negative sentiments.

Therefore, all you can find in ranked matches are Fennec abusers who run and gun with no sense of unspoken ethics. Besides the already toxic environment created by the Fennec, we now have a broken AR that can two tap at ranges above 50 meters. Well, if you don’t already know what that gun is, we will not reveal either.

Where does that leave players who just want to enjoy a few competitive matches in peace? In Alcatraz, of course! CoDM’s fast-paced BR map seems to be the only place people can take refuge in to straighten out their Fennec flattened egos. With 20 bots swarming in every match expect to win each bout with basic skill.

Is this the worst season yet for CoDM? Probably not. With how things are panning out currently, more nasty additions might be around the corner. There are reports of two new weapons coming to the game next season. Again, one of them has an insane fire rate, which obviously is what the Fennec abusers are looking forward to.

Nonetheless, as fans of the game, Activision will always have a chance to make things right. How much longer is the question. As for Season 12, everything went really ‘dark’, Capt’n Price!
