Call of Duty Mobile is arguably the most popular FPS multiplayer titles for handheld devices right now. Starting from Season 1 to Season 12, the game has come a long way. The current season of the game has been quite the ride, with Alcatraz paying the game a little visit, all the way from Black Ops 4.

If you take a look at the sniper meta in the game’s Battle Royale, it keeps changing from time to time. For a while, the DLQ33 held the title of the best sniper rifle in the multiplayer and is still a stable choice. Then along came the Locus and it is arguably the best sniper rifle in the game right now, as far as multiplayer is concerned.
However, many players are currently choosing the Arctic .50 sniper rifle as the more stable and dependable choice. One reason for this might be the fact that the Arctic .50 is the most abundantly found sniper in the BR maps. But of course, players have other reasons as well.

Why are players considering the Arctic .50 to be the most dependable choice of snipers in Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale?
This is a pretty interesting question since this weapon has always been a mediocre sniper rifle. If we compare it to the Locus or DLQ33, we would probably place it somewhere around the lower end of the list. However, as we said, one of the major selling points for this is its abundance in BR.
Another major selling point of the Arctic .50 is the rate of fire, which is higher than the other snipers mentioned above. This helps when you need to take out entire squads from a distance, but your aim is not always on point. Usually, with the other sniper rifles, you only get one shot and if you lose it, you lose it. However, a higher rate of fire offers you a second chance within the same window of opportunity.

In addition to this, the Arctic .50 is pretty stable with a control count of 68. The only other sniper that can rival its stability is the Locus (70). Although the Locus sure packs a punch, it harder to come by in Battle Royale compared to the former.
Overall, although the Arctic .50 deals a little less damage than the other options out there, it makes it up by its stability and rate of fire and is probably the best-suited sniper for Battle Royale. That is, until a new contender comes along.
