Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 brought forth a host of content to celebrate its first anniversary. One of the major attractions is the new Battle Royale map, Alcatraz. Inspired by a real-life prison island in California, Alcatraz first featured in Black Ops 4 Blackout.
While Blackout Battle Royale was a failure, Alcatraz grabbed eyeballs. Since then it has been immensely popular and is all set to make a return in Black Ops: Cold War.

Alcatraz on CODM differs from the regular Battle Royale in Isolated. It is a much smaller map and therefore game time is reduced. But apart from that, there are many unique perks to Alcatraz.
The mode allows each player five lives throughout the game. You can get revived by your teammates when downed, but if they confirm the kill, you can redeploy again. Each time a player redeploys, they parachute down with a weapon at hand to help in quick gunfights right after landing. As the map is small and the circle closes in with time, there is not much space to land with no enemies nearby.

How to remain alive in Alcatraz in Call of Duty Mobile
Alcatraz is a small map and meant for quick gunfights. The fun of the game is to stack up as many kills as possible. Since players redeploy five times each, you can scout the map with the best loot and go on killing people.
The best place to consider landing is not in the middle. Now you may think you can avoid a fight this way, but no. Even if you land a bit away from the central prison, like Docks, Power House, or New Industries, there will still be an ample number of players around you. The only reason to avoid the Cellhouse is to get a window to gather loot.
In Alcatraz, one cannot select Skill Classes prior to the start of the match. Here they can be looted. Even the class driver to upgrade a Class has to be looted off the ground.
After looting the outskirts, swiftly try looting a drop but be careful to smoke it first. Get level three gear and call in a loadout if required. Now you are ready to engage. Encroach the center of the map now and take out enemies from pivot positions. Use high ground like rooftops and towers. Keep a lookout for that stray sniper and finish your kills. That will increase your chances of getting more kills.

The end circle game is similar to any other battle royale; always be outside buildings during the last circle. Camping inside will not save you, but when the circle drops you will either die to the zone or enemies will kill you when you try to exit the building.
