McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel is a Call Of Duty pro currently playing for Atlanta FaZE in Call of Duty League 2020. In fact, he is a top 5 player, nominated for the MVP award. Currently, Atlanta FaZe are the top seeds in the tournament.

Cellium joined Atlanta FaZe back in October 2019. He has been a versatile player for the team, playing whatever role required of him. Currently, he boasts of the second-highest K/D in his team. But more than the numbers, it’s his tenacity in clutch situations that stands out, especially in Search and Destroy. In addition to everything, Cellium also holds the record for the most number of kills in a Search and Destroy game.

Cellium has commanded a lot of attention due to his clutch plays. Whether it be against Optic LA or Minnesota Rokkr, Cellium has pushed the boundaries of solo to another extreme.

Atlanta FaZe might have struggled in the last home series but Cellium is yet to finish a tournament with a negative K/D. In an interview with Tyler Polchow on YouTube, Cellium spoke about his team and the journey to CDL 2020. On his weapon of preference he believes it to be ARs. Hardpoint maps can change within minutes if an AR player holds the ranks down hard. Taking down a double and triple push can do wonders.

Clutching up kills is Cellium’s business and so it’s not surprising he likes his ARs. Also given the fact that the new Call Of Duty meta has shifted to AR, everything makes more sense. FaZe has nothing to complain about the young man racking up 40 bombs, consistently, while maintaining a positive K/D.

Cellium was selected as the winner of the Oustanding Esports Competitor in the 2020 Atlanta Sports Awards yesterday.
