The game has since been one of the most popular competitive titles out there right now.

Now, even the video agrees that camping is not really an honorable strategy to win the game and it is well-known that most players hate camping as well as campers. But then, the ultimate objective is to stay alive and be the last man/party on the map. And tactfully avoiding confrontation might be one way to go about it. To demonstrate this, the video uses clippings from the Paris Legion gameplay from the first week of WZ, and clips from the gameplay of Clayster & Crimsix of the Dallas Empire.

In short, the basic things that you have to keep in mind if you want to employ camping as your strategy are:

  • recon
  • mobility
  • means to hold the fort
  • supplies

In addition to this, your loadout plays a key role in this strategy. We recommend the party is divided into players who can help in times of an ambush and the ones who can deal long-range damage. Paris Legion starts off the match by selecting various recon points throughout the map and carefully work their way through each of the points that we mentioned. For example, the team chose proximity mine as the means of holding the fort. You can find plenty of more strategic points in the video and in greater detail. And you can count on the advice because, after all, it is coming from the Call of Duty League itself.

It is nice to see the League do something that is really helpful for the players out, especially while the game is infected with cheaters. This will provide valuable insights to the players and help them improve.
