The Call of Duty League has been experiencing a lot of turmoil, especially after the change in format from 5v5 to 4v4. The move forced a lot of teams out there to update their rosters. Amidst all this turmoil, however, comes some exciting news.
Those who follow the League closely might already know that Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez has bought back OpTic Gaming. However, neither OpTic nor HecZ has released an official announcement as of now.

Nadeshot or DrDisrespect: Who will buy the Los Angeles Call of Duty League spot?
Dr Disrespect has been hinting at owning a CDL team for a while now. Fans of Doc might remember that he teased about a San Diego team, whom he said would be called “San Diego Speed.” His then-teammate during the stream asked if he was foreshadowing his ownership of a team when he spoke of the idea, to which he just said, “You might see a San Diego team.”
If this does happen, it will not be surprising because H3CZ and Doc have been friends for a long time.

On the other hand, we have Nadeshot and 100 Thieves. Now, on a recent stream, he did say that 100T is currently not in a financial position to be owning spots in the CDL. However, he does say that “LA Thieves” does have a nice ring to it. Is this a hush-hush affair currently and soon they will reveal that they have acquired H3CZ’s LA CDL spot? Does not seem immediately likely, but let’s see.
Well, all this remains to be seen, and on the other hand, the CDL community will be keeping a close eye on H3CZ’s management of OpTic Gaming. Will he be as successful as he has been with Huntsmen?
