Call of Duty players have recently shown displeasure about the imbalance in weapon power in the franchise right now and they have targeted one particular gun and want it nerfed. Players are fed up with the Grau being an extremely overpowered gun both in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone.
The Grau is extremely popular right now and for good reason. The range of this assault rifle matches that of a marksman rifle and is exceptionally accurate. It has by now become common knowledge among gamers that the balance of weapons in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone is poor right now. These games could really use a weapon balance change and most probably Warzone will be getting it in the next mid-season update.

This means that the devs are trying to ensure weapon balance in the game and Grau will be getting the much needed nerf (possibly).

The previously nerfed weapons such as the 725 (kind of a ranged shotgun with great accuracy) took a lot of attempts to be nerfed properly (although some players still consider the 725 to be overpowered). This is the first attempt at nerfing the Grau so it might take some time before the game achieves the desired weapon balance. But as soon as the tuned weapons hit the game, it is expected to ensure an improved balance.
