Call of Duty: Black Ops- Cold War has been one of the most anticipated titles of the year. The latest CoD title had quite a huge amount of hype around it ever since its announcement. The community had huge expectations from it, and from the reaction of fans following its launch, there seem to be certain parts of the game that just didn’t hit the mark.

As of now, the majority of fans agree that the campaign of the game has lived up to expectations. However, players are facing numerous issues regarding the game’s multiplayer.

Now, the community knew that the multiplayer gameplay in Black Ops- Cold War would be different from, say, Modern Warfare, since devs used Treyarch’s own engine to develop the game. However, players are facing quite a few problems and glitches in the multiplayer already.

A major glitch that players have been complaining about is the spawn glitch, which is causing players to spawn at the opponent’s spawn points. Since it has only been a couple of days since the game launched, we hope that devs will gradually fix this in the upcoming patches.? In addition to this, the community has also been complaining about the skill based matchmaking system in the game.

But the issue that players are hating the most currently is the terribly slow XP gain for both players and weapons, making it extremely difficult to even unlock basic attachments. Fans talked at length about this is a thread on the BOCW dedicated subreddit.

Looks like Black Ops Cold War has quite a few issues on the multiplayer front. But given that it has only been a couple of days since its release, we can hope that devs will fix this in the upcoming update patch cycle.
