The latest Call of Duty title is everything that the leak suggests?
The latest Call of Duty title was announced after leaks throughout the last few months. Internet was flooded with leaks and theories on the game and rather surprisingly, most came out true.
As predicted earlier, the reveal event will take place in Call of Duty Warzone.
This piece of news could further confirm many more theories. Warzone is somehow set to collaborate with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This could be done through a whole new map with a couple of additions or some entirely new setup. If it does end up happening, there is a chance that Warzone will make a return in the future based on feedback.
Activision tried to make the reveal engaging as possible. Prior to the reveal date being announced, they sent out crates to some of the biggest personalities in the gaming community. The crates had many clues and after decoding all they were redirected to a website that had the teaser trailer.
Unfortunately, the teaser trailer did not have much in store. There was no in-game footage or big plot reveal. All the fans know is that the plot is likely to focus on βPersuesβ an individual who was tasked to infiltrate the US government.

Insider Tom Henderson had come forth on Twitter to reveal many details on the game. Most of his statements have come out true. If that is something to go by, the Zombie reveals for Cold War will be set for a later date.
More news on the upcoming game
Another interesting alleged reveal is that the Cold War wonβt feature any major change in skill-based matchmaking. This is a piece of bad news for most players, but we can hope for some tweaks from Activision to improve player experience.

VGC has also reported that their sources hinted that a Warzone update could take place later this year. So, if thatβs the case, the game might just drop on the same timeline.
Further news on the title will likely be revealed during the upcoming Gamescom 2020 event. The developers might just give a better insight into their title.
