Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War: Pre-ordering the game

Following the worldwide reveal, the game rolled out for pre-orders and is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

While the disk versions will be available for the consoles in November when the game releases, PC gamers will only get access to the digital version.

Now, if you’re a console player, you need to follow the following simple steps-

  • Head over to the store and look for the game.
  • You will find three editions of the game- Standard, Cross-Gen, and Ultimate. All three come with different perks and have a significant difference in their respective prices.
  • Select the version you want to purchase and you’re good to go.

While all editions might have some similar ones, the Ultimate edition offers more perks than the others.

For PC gamers

A physical disk of the game won’t be available for PC gamers, but they can purchase a digital version of the game through Battle.net. However, only the Standard and Ultimate versions are available. The pre-order also gets you access to the beta launch.

Zombies will make a return to the game. Moreover, considering the game is a direct sequel to the Black Ops (released in 2010), it will see the revival of some old characters.
