Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War comes with amusing perks in its multiplayer. Like every other multiplayer, there are a number of elements that can be mixed up even though they are not meant to be. In Black Ops Cold War those ‘elements’ are scorestreaks.
Scorestreaks made a return in this new age Call of Duty after a year of annoying grind with killstreaks in Modern Warfare. And since Cold War released, various myths have surfaced regarding these streaks. There is so much a player can do on the multiplayer maps that it took some time to test out these myths.
YouTube channel DefendTheHouse compiled some of the popular myths and tested out their credibility. The myths we discuss here can help players make higher IQ plays.

Common myths in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War tested
Items placed on the diving board in Miami will jump– Since the time it was revealed that players can get a jump boost on the diving board, many were curious what else can be given some altitude with its help. Well, it turns out, players can still jump in the final version of the game, but no items can.
The trophy system, proximity mine, and the RC-XD would not move with the player when he jumped. Therefore, this myth stands busted.
A trophy system can protect you from a cruise missile– Well simply said, it cannot. The trophy system in the new age CoD still can only protect you from throwables. A bonus: The SAM Turret also fails in this regard.
You can carry a Care Package on the RC-XD– It is true that with perfect alignment, you can make the Care Package land on the RC-XD, and it stays there. But no, you cannot carry the package. The RC-XD just moves away from beneath it. Even this myth stands busted.
If not a Care Package, maybe a Proximity Mine?– Yes, this actually works in CoD multiplayer. Players can stick a Proximity Mine on the RC-XD and move it around the map. The mine and car burst together in the presence of an enemy player. This myth stands confirmed. We can’t wait to see players implement this and create hilarious vids.
