July is about to end and we have but one question, “WHERE IS CALL OF DUTY 2020?” Seriously, the year has been cruel to us as it is. If the world denies us the upcoming Call of Duty title, is life ever going to be fun again? Jokes apart, the upcoming title in the CoD franchise has been the talk of the town for quite a while now. There have been endless speculations about it, and some fans had even been sure that many easter eggs from the upcoming game have found its way into CoD: Warzone.
Popular YouTube data miner and leaker TheGamingRevolution stumbled upon the internal alpha version of the upcoming CoD title, last month, found under the pseudonym ‘The Red Door’. Since then, there has been a lot of leaked news about the game, namely maps and missions. At the same time, fans are growing impatient.

Call of Duty 2020: What do we know, what have we learned
The Black Ops Cold War internal alpha recently resurfaced, this time on the Xbox store, under the same name, ‘The Red Door’. Dataminers have been busy finding out more from alpha’s game build and, as of now, we have quite a lot of information available (courtesy of cod.tracker.gg).

Prominent CoD YouTuber XclusiveAce provided various insights, in detail, into the game from the gameplay footage he was provided with. Unfortunately, the video has been privatized due to legal pressure from the Activision.
Maps
The order of these maps/missions is not known. The sheer amount of the campaign missions is huge, which makes sense given the size of the internal alpha was over 80GB.
Note: there may or may not be more missions in the released version of the game:
- K.G.B. (Russia)
- Siege (Russia)
- Yamantau (Russia)
- Takedown (Side Mission)
- Tundra (Side Mission)
- Hub (Germany)
- Hub 8 (Germany)
- Stakeout (Germany)
- Armada (Vietnam)
- Prisoner (Vietnam)
- Revolucion (Nicaragua)
- Amerika (Russia)
- Duga (Russia)
In addition to this, there are 8 multiplayer maps that we know of. Again, these may be subject to change.
- Black Sea
- Cartel
- K.G.B.
- Miami
- Moscow
- Satellite
- Tank
- Tundra

According to the gameplay footage that XclusiveAce had seen and the leaked gameplay footage (that Activision has been taking down all over the internet), we know of two guns from the game. One is an assault rifle named AK 5 and the other is SPAS-12, a shotgun (Project I.G.I, anyone?).
BO Cold War locations to feature in Call of Duty Warzone
Warzone already contains a lot of supposed Black Ops Cold War easter eggs, notably the bunkers with numerical code systems. The new locations to feature in Warzone will give us glimpses of various locations from the upcoming title. One of these locations is already in the game- Duga. So keep an eye out for the locations named:

- Forest
- Russia
- Ski Slopes
This is all we have on the upcoming Call of Duty title for now. Although Activision releases a CoD title every year around May, we can’t blame the devs this year given the situation. Hold on to your horses and Activision will drop this ‘care package’ on us soon.
