The UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones is the most dominant fighter UFC has ever seen. Jones has faced legends throughout his whole career. But when it comes to the big fight, Jones had very few of them. However, we might see one of the biggest super fights in UFC history, if Brock Lesnar steps into the octagon to face Jon Jones.
WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle just came up with a piece of big news about his friend from WWE, Brock Lesnar. In his interview with Ariel Helwani, the Olympic gold medalist talked about Brock Lesnar’s retirement saying that he wants Brock to come back to fight inside the octagon.
With that, Kurt also revealed the one opponent Brock Lesnar has always wanted to face. And that is the UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.

Kurt Angle said:
“I hope he(Brock Lesnar) does return. I know he said he has retired. I think the one fight he wants, not sure if it’s ever going to happen, he wants to fight against Jones.”
Also talking about how would Lesnar do against his fight against arguably the greatest of all time, Jon Jones, Kurt said:
“They are very different, their sizes are extremely different. But Brock is a freak. He might not win all his fight, he might not be the most polished fighter, but he is an incredible athlete, and he could do anything he wants.”
This is huge for Jon Jones since Jones doesn’t seem to have a fight ahead of him which will be intriguing for the fans to watch. His third fight with Daniel Cormier was the best option of Jones. However, Cormier lost to Stipe Miocic in UFC 241 and lost the heavyweight title too. So it seems if Cormier decides to come back for one more fight he is going to choose Stipe Miocic over Jon Jones. And an opponent like Brock Lesnar is just what Jon Jones needs right now.
Apart from that, Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar also have a history between them. Jones has said in the past before that he would fight Brock Lesnar in a heart beat.
In an interview before UFC 214, Jones said:

“I would do it in a heartbeat. That’s the fight that would get mainstream America excited, and I want to have a fight like that. It would be tremendous for our sport.”
But things caught fire when Jones called out Lesnar after he defeated DC.
“If you want to know what it feels like to get your ass kicked by a guy who is 40 pounds less than you, meet me in the octagon.”

And to that Lesnar replied, ” Be careful what you wish for, young man.”
It can not be confirmed right now whether this super fight between Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar will ever take place. However, it will be one of the biggest events in UFC history, if Jones battles the beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar.
