New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum set a new record for the fastest Test century on the first day of his final test against Australia on Saturday. McCullum notched his 12th Test century in just 54 balls which included 16 fours and 4 sixes.
McCullum came into bat at 32/3 and dispatched the Australian bowlers to all parts of Hagley Oval. His Innings finally came to an end when he was caught by Lyon off Patinson, but the damage was done as he ended with 145 off 79 balls, which included 21 fours and 6 sixes.
