It’s not the first time a Kiwi and an Aussie have got into a banter on social media. Recently, Gujarat Lions teammates Brendon McCullum and James Faulkner got into a hilarious twitter banter and had a good time off the field.

This was another instance of IPL uniting the players across the borders. The very basic structure of it offers a platform for players all over the world to get along with their international rivals and forget the on-field fierce encounters on the international stage.

McCullum, known well for his jolly nature both on and off the field first jokingly tweeted about Royal Challengers Banglore’s injury problems, suggesting former Kiwi teammate and the current head coach of RCB, Daniel Vettori, to make a comeback to the field, compensating the injury woes.

The latest is his conversation with James Faulkner on Twitter, which began with a few fiery comments from the Australian all-rounder on a photo of him and McCullum together following a training session.

All it took was a picture of the pair together with Faulkner reminiscing about the time when Faulkner?bowled the former Kiwi captain and then the rest was to follow a hilarious banter between two teammates on Twitter.
