Alexander Zverev might be up for some terrible news on the personal front. While we are all looking for some degree of love and affection amidst the confining feeling of the lockdown, Zverev might have just gone through a breakup.

Yes, as per some speculative work being done by some fans on Twitter, Alexander Zverev has broken up with his much-publicized significant other. The source for this speculation is the Instagram account of supermodel Brenda Patea. She has unfollowed Zverev on Instagram.

However, that’s not it, she has deleted everything related to him from her account. This includes their popular pictures from the Mexico tour where Zverev had gone for an exhibition with Roger Federer.

When did Alexander Zverev and Brenda Patea start dating?

Alexander Zverev first met his girlfriend during the Paris Masters in November 2019. Later, Patea came out to support Zverev during the ATP Tour Finals in London where he failed to defend his title. Talking about Brenda Patea, she is more than just the girlfriend of Alexander Zverev. She is a rising modelling star who participated in the 12th cycle of “Germany’s Next Top Model”. She was known as Brenda Hubscher back then and had finished overall tenth on the season.

Interestingly, Zverev has still not deleted any posts with Brenda Patea from his account. His latest post with her came as recently as March. He had detailed the three moods of his girlfriend. Even Patea replied saying how much she missed Zverev during the lockdown. Considering that, it’s really sad to hear this if the rumours are actually true. Let’s wait for an official confirmation from either of the two stars involved.
