Brazilian striker Richarlison had a good run at the World Cup. He started his world cup campaign with a banger by scoring 2 goals against Serbia. Brazil won that game 2-0 crediting a pivotal role played by Richarlison in the second half of that game. Despite returning home earlier than expected, the Brazilian has used his time off optimally by getting himself another tattoo.

Recently, Richarlison revealed his brand-new tattoo, which he got inked just two days after Brazil’s World Cup elimination. Renowned tattoo artist, @dom.tattoo posted a video revealing Richarlison’s new tattoo. Dom is a London-based tattoo artist. He is the go-to tattoo artist for many Brazilian players who play in the Premier League. Players like Fábio Vieira and Manchester United winger Antony have also had tattoos done by Dom.

Richarlison never had a tattoo till 2020. The Tottenham striker eventually joined the trend too, and over the years, he had a few unique tattoos done. In the past, Dom has also mentioned how ‘hooked’ Richarlison has gotten to getting inked every few months. However, the tattoo artist revealed that the latest one was never planned. Richarlison asked for the tattoo to be done on the spot.
A disappointing end to Brazil’s WC – The way ahead
In the group stage, Brazil topped its group and cruised to the next round. They then hammered South Korea 4-1 in the Round of 16. Despite the excellent form, Brazil came crashing out of the World Cup in the Quarter Finals. A heartbreaking loss to Croatia on penalties sealed Brazil’s fate. They had to return home a week earlier than they had ideally expected.

Brazil was one of the favorites going into the World Cup. With a talented and strong squad that never lacked flair, fans were hoping that Brazil would go all the way through.

Richarlison has been struggling with injuries off-late. He hasn’t been a regular starter in Antonio Conte’s XI at Tottenham. Richarlison picked up another hamstring injury before his last game at the World Cup. The Brazilian is set to be sidelined for at least a month before returning to regular football.
