Former Captain Dwayne Bravo and all rounder Keiron Pollard have been dropped from the 15 man squad of West Indies for the ICC World Cup, says Dinanath Ramnarine, the former West Indies legspinner and former longtime president of West Indies Players Association.
It is to be noted that the West Indies Cricket Board is yet to announce the squad for the World Cup, but with Ramnarine tweeting about them, the speculations over their participation in the mega event are further strengthened.
“Confirmed Bravo and Pollard are both out of the 2015 WC. The WICB has the full support of the TTCB, so well done to both WICB and TTCB.” Said Dinanath Ramnarine on his twitter account.
Just last month, the duo of Keiron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo were left out of the ODI series against South Africa. Jason Holder was made the captain of the team in which Darren Sammy was added later.
No statement has been issued by either Pollard, Bravo or the WICB on the issue.
