In the latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE Podcast, Jake Paul revealed how he bounced back from his loss against Tommy Fury. On the 22nd of February this year, Jake Paul suffered his first career loss in boxing against ‘TNT’. However, following the upset, Paul did not wait long to get back in business and is now gearing up to face Nate Diaz in the ring. While Jake Paul mentioned the actions he abstained from performing after his loss to ‘TNT,’ Logan Paul unabashedly admitted when he “lost and had the breakup” he “did everything you’re saying.” “I did all that,” ‘The Maverick’ stated.
So what did Jake Paul exactly do after his loss to Tommy Fury? According to ‘The Problem Child,’ he did not take a break from boxing, and that helped him bounce back from the loss quite immediately. In his opinion, when everyone else would have turned their back on boxing for the time being, he embraced his loss and continued his training. “That’s not easy. And I think a lot of people in my position would take a break from boxing. Turn away, go get f****d up a bunch,” said Jake Paul. However, Paul made it happen by avoiding certain things.

Jake Paul believes any other boxer would have gone on vacations and “drown-ed” themselves in sensual pleasure and the consumption of material wealth. “Go hook up with a bunch of girls. Go on vacations. Like drown in these other things,” narrated Jake Paul. However, ‘The Problem Child’ confronted his emotions and meditated upon what he was feeling. “And I just faced every emotion, every thought, processed it.” Although the process was the opposite of “fun” and “hurt” him initially, ‘The Problem Child’ matured.

“And it hurt a lot like it wasn’t fun at all. So, I guess I just had to grow these new shoes,” expressed Paul. Although the loss was a bitter experience in Paul’s career as a boxer, ‘The Problem Child declared that it motivated him. As a result, unbelievably, right after he “got off the flight” from Dubai, he resumed his training. “The day I got back from Dubai from the loss; I had got off the flight and did a five-mile jog and since that day haven’t stopped training,” Paul concluded. On the 5th of August, Paul will return to the ring and face Nate Diaz in Dallas.
