Jake Paul has taken the world by storm as he defeated BKFC fighter Mike Perry inside a boxing ring. The cheering audience was thrilled by Paul’s lightning-fast reflexes and strong punching ability. Nevertheless, many have observed that the Ohio native was tiring out in between the fight. It seemed odd at first, but then attention turned to the fight and everyone ignored Paul’s heavy breathing. However, ‘The Problem Child’s’ brother, Logan Paul finally confronted him about what happened during the fight. 

Logan was worried about his younger brother before the fight and even asked if he was okay. But it turns out that Jake lied to his brother about his health condition, and went ahead to take on Perry. 

Jake admits that he lied about his health 

Jake shared a video just one day prior to the Paul vs. Perry bout, in which he claimed that his brother Logan had built his WWE roof and that the builders had bored holes in the entrance. As a result, a large amount of black mold developed. It turns out that Paul is allergic to it, and he inhaled it throughout his training and sparring sessions. After the fight, Logan confronted his younger brother and said, “You fu**ing told me you weren’t feeling sick.”

‘The Problem Child’ quickly accepted that he “lied” to him. Logan further added, “I said are you lying, you said no.” In addition, Jake also stated after the bout, “I just didn’t feel very good tonight. I was sick leading up to this. My knuckle is messed up. It was swollen like a big ball.’’ 

Leading up to the clash, many believed that Paul was making a mistake by fighting Perry inside the ring. All of the worries, though, have now been dispelled as Paul, despite not being at his best physically, defeated the former UFC star via knockout in the sixth round. Mike Perry lauds Jake Paul’s fighting prowess

‘Platinum’ is known for his ability to stay in battle even after suffering serious damage. However, it didn’t work for him against Paul. During the fight, Perry was knocked down three times. The referee halted the bout after assessing that Perry was not in a condition to continue fighting. During an in-ring interview, the former UFC star said, “I was trying to roll with the punches and hit your a** back. You did a great job. You were way too fast for me and I couldn’t adjust.’’

Even Paul acknowledged Perry’s fighting ability and stated, “Man, he’s tough as nails.’’ Well, there’s no time for ‘The Problem Child’ to rest. An even bigger storm is coming his way. He is slated to go up against boxing legend Mike Tyson on November 15th. Despite Paul’s confidence in his ability to defeat Tyson, it won’t be that easy.
