Logan Paul has been long trying to battle the demons of his controversial incident at Japan’s Aokigahara Forest in 2017. Moreover, the incident cost Paul the relationship with his idol, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Recently, revealed that he felt bad about outing the story of his strained relationship with Johnson.
Paul was talking at the ‘True Geordie’ podcast hosted by Brian ‘Geordie’ Davis. In conversation, Geordie asked him about the status of his relationship with Johnson. Paul mentioned that Johnson wanted nothing to do with him after the incident. Further, he added, “I totally got where he was coming from. You know, I was so disappointed like in myself. Like, real disappointment in myself. And, so I vowed to get better.”

Moreover, Paul mentioned that he was unable to secure his bond with Johnson. He said, “I just, I don’t know, I just wanted to be able to build a relationship with Dwayne that didn’t end up happening.”

Geordie further asked him if he tried contacting Johnson. Paul mentioned that Johnson, in fact, tried to contact him through Instagram. He said, “I did not reach out, he did, maybe like 5 months ago. No 3 months ago. Like nothing ever happened.”
However, he added he has not responded to Johnson’s message. When asked if he will respond to Johnson, in due time, Paul responded saying, “I think I’m a sc*mbag for outing this story. Probably.”

But Geordie quickly reassured him he was not, as he did not talk ill about Johnson. In fact, Paul also added that Johnson is an amazing person.

Logan Paul teamed up with The Miz for his WWE debut at WrestleMania 38. Additionally, the duo scored a scintillating victory against Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio.

‘The Rock’ was impressed with Paul’s performance in his debut fight. Meanwhile, Paul had posted a video of himself at WrestleMania 38 on his official Instagram account. Johnson congratulated him by commenting on his post and mentioning that he is proud of Paul.
