It’s also reported that the 79-year-old’s dis-active personality disorder might’ve contributed to his passage.

Taking to his Instagram, Stallone posted an iconic picture of him along with Terry Funk. He captioned it, “Rest in peace Terry Funk. A great wrestler, a witty man, and tough as leather. You were one of a kind!!” The picture is a still from one of his movies.

Fans were quick to jump in as they remembered some of the most infamous moments in Funk’s career. One user mentioned the amazing bandwidth the fighter-turned-actor showed in the scene from Paradise Alley. Stallone and Funk worked together in this project. One of the best scenes ever,” the user said. “I tried acting that scene 100 times when I was a kid but with the sliding doors open.”

Another user spoke about the performance Funk delivered in Roadhouse. The user commented, “I loved him as Morgan the bouncer in Roadhouse. RIP Terry.” Another one spoke about how good the movie in entirety was. Calling the movie the best in Funk’s career, he said, “All fathers should have to watch that movie with their sons.”
