Ahead of the scheduled Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis bout, Olympic bronze medalist boxer Tony Jeffries reviewed Danis’ boxing skills. Watching Danis’ match against Max Humphrey, Jeffries praised the former’s ability to lean back, throw feints, and maintain a high guard in close proximity. By and by, Jeffries observed that Danis fought with a “good form” and “good stance”. Subsequently, he was “confident and comfortable” against Humphrey. In fact, Jeffries eventually confessed that Danis was “better” than actually what he thought him to be.

Going through Danis vs. Kyle Walker, Jeffries also observed how Danis got caught by Walker’s “big overhand left” to the temple. It is worth mentioning that Jeffries liked the punch so much that he branded the same “the best shot of the fight”. Along these lines, he even mentioned the need to work with a “legit boxing coach” who would help  “build a bond” and find “chemistry”.

According to the Olympic bronze medalist, how a fighter reacts after they get punched “is a big indicator of character in boxing”. Likewise, the fact that “determined” Danis walked forward despite getting caught against Walker impressed Jeffries. However, although Jeffires found Danis’ work with the mitts “okay,” he fell short of calling it “high-level boxing'”. In his opinion, the mixed martial artist was neither “fast” nor “explosive”.

However, according to one fan, all Danis needs to do is watch Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul and find Paul’s weaknesses. “If he extracts all of those weaknesses, he could easily KO Logan,” they said.

Meanwhile, one observed how Dillon, “like all the MMA fighters,” dropped his hand while fighting. “But it gets them smoked in a boxing match vs. any real boxer,” they wrote.

Given the fact that Danis has trained with Conor McGregor and Alex Periera, one believes “he should take the W” against ‘The Maverick’.

On the other hand, another fan observed how Danis often dropped his hand while fighting. “Hopefully, Danis’s coaches will drill that habit out of him,” they added.

Finally, one said, “In the first couple of rounds Logan will be dangerous“.
