AEW Superstar Chris Jericho spoke out via Ringside news and expressed an interest to see Mike Tyson return. The legendary boxer has had several stints outside the bright lights of the ring to venture into other performative sports. Chiefly, Mike Tyson appeared to present the TNT title at Double or Nothing and subsequently reignited a beef with Jericho.

The iconic former boxing champion has cemented a legacy for himself with his domination inside the ring. Moreover, at the age of 54, he shows no signs of slowing down as he is prepared to make a return to boxing. He will face off against fellow icon in Roy Jones Jr. at the end of November in an 8-round exhibition clinic.

However, Jericho has his hands full at the moment as he’s battling it out with fellow AEW superstar Orange Cassidy.

Chris Jericho on Mike Tyson

The former WWE star seems all but certain that Tyson would make a return to the promotion. Despite retiring back in 2005, Tyson brings along a significant number of eyeballs no matter the venture he undertakes.

“Yes, of course, we’re still talking to Mike, and we will figure it out one way or another.”

AEW is a rivaling promotion to the WWE and has grown exponentially off the back of mainstream stars. Jericho has no love lost for his former organization and constantly trolls them on Twitter. Additionally, he has found great success under the AEW banner, especially gaining major viewership with his beef with Cassidy.
